RELEASE NOTES:
- Query Editor: Added new commands for creating XML category definitions, based on query trees, to be used in Tovek Server. For more information see the documentation.
- OpenOffice file format extensions (ODT, ODP, ODS) now part of the standard list of file extensions to be indexed.
- If a search on the Tovek Server cannot be started, typically because of a query syntax error, a message box in Tovek Agent is displayed to inform the user; originally the message went only to the error log.
- When connecting Tovek Server without the categorisation enabled no error messages are shown when this feature is unavailable.
- Fixed configuration for storing custom document key delimiter when indexing ODBC databases.
- Fixed wizard dialog boxes on systems running at display resolution of 120 dpi.
- Fixed pdf filter behaviour when working with pdf forms.
- Html Export: Added a test option (via cfg files) for cutting long stretches of characters without a space into smaller parts; otherwise this usually causes very wide html pages that are hard to print.

RELEASE NOTES:
- Added possibility of document categorization when searching against a Tovek Server offering this capability. All is controlled by two new commands in Tovek Agent, in the Query menu. Tovek Server version needs to be build 530 or higher.
- Query Editor: Added better support for vertical scrolling using a mouse wheel.
- Clustering on a Tovek Server v. 3.x: Fixed problem with a wrong number of retrieved documents that was sometimes shown in the Tovek Agent indicators.
- Windows authentication against a Tovek Server (SSPI Interceptor) now caches login info by default.

RELEASE NOTES:
- Query Editor: Added option to switch to Utf-8 mode (Unicode) for creating and editing topics (two new commands in the Tools menu), plus the option to specify <Lang/ID> modifier (available from context menu only, for <Phrase> and <Stem> operators). Utf-8 mode has a new indicator in the status bar, together with new zoom controls. Smaller changes include working with unicode text on input and via clipboard, new status bar, query report in Unicode, and saving and loading OTL files in Utf-8. Topics in unicode cannot be used as IR-TXT context matrix for the InfoRating.
- Query Editor fixes: Fixed problem with not escaping apostrophe inside a word when writing OTL, and wrong query creation when importing TXT files into an empty topic tree.
- Windows 7/Windows Server 2008: All Tovek Tools applications should be able to run on these systems. Previous versions of tt crash when showing File Open/Save As (and similar) dialog boxes. This has been fixed, plus a new toolbar style is used when running on Windows Vista and newer in Aero mode. This all does not apply to Harvester which didn't have the problem described above.
- The new toolbars also show bigger buttons according to monitor dpi, and Help/About dialog boxes have been fixed when running on a 120 dpi displays. All resizing dialog boxes have been modified to use the correct grip handle from the underlying operating system.
- Tovek Agent: When viewing search and document delivery times it is possible to hide additional technical information (separated by ##% as in the result list) in the two lists, by doubleclicking on any entry in the list. Also the Html export with InfoRating has been changed to better work with Uni locale documents.
- Tovek Viewer: Fixed problem when URLs were not detected if they were the last item in the fields pane. Added a test command, Shift+Select all, which puts extracted numbers (if any) from the text to the clipboard.
- InfoRating fix: Loading of very long (over 2 MB) document texts into the internal viewer have been speeded up, and also long documents are not hilited as this has been causing problems in the fulltext engine. Plus when exporting IR context from Query Editor the query ID is truncated to 50 characters, an increase from the previous value of 15.
- OpenOffice filter is included for testing purposes and should work with the text documents, spreadsheets and presentations. To use it it's needed to add relevant file extensions in the Index Manager so that these document files are indexed as well.
- When connecting sources from Tovek Server 5 there is a way how to specify a list of fields that will not be shown in Tovek Tools. It's done by using the _Tovek_\tt_SkipF.cfg file in the collection directory on the server.
- A new login option has been added for Tovek Server 5, which sends to the server the current user name in Windows and an empty password, skipping the need for the login/password window.
- Connection DLL that allows working with restricted documents on TS5 is now part of the installation.
- Setup changes: Welcome/Readme file is no longer installed, and the last step of the setup, on Windows Vista and above, does not allow launch of any applications as these were started in the Administrator mode.
- All main components plus setup now have version number in the form N.NN.0.BuildNumber. For this released version of Tovek Tools 4.27 it is 4.27.0.4680.
- Internal settings were updated to include the test mode of the Slovenian language.

- Tovek Agent: Document viewer in the Topic Agents view mode has a second pane (closed by default), which can display either the document fields or the second instance of the document text, if viewing the text at two places at the same time is needed. Smaller changes include different button layout for the query conditions and skipping of the Rank field when showing fields together with the document.
- Tovek Agent result list: Clicking the heading of the first column while holding the Shift key will sort the result list first by the document icon and then by the original sorting order. This can be used for grouping together documents marked for export, or for similar purposes.
- Tovek Agent search fix: Fixed problem when searching on TS5× and the query conditions contained accented characters, which were not properly converted and the search could not be started.

- Index Manager: Added new menu for indexing multiple sources, and for automatic indexing using an external scheduler.
- Lists of documents that failed to index are now stored in the Logs folder too, accessible via the Index Manager command.
- Integer values in the result list of Tovek Agent, as well as in other programs, are now right-aligned and have thousands separator.
- Tovek Tools Fulltext Plug-in: Fixed version for Analyst's Notebook 7 running on Windows Vista, icons are now displayed properly and TT Edit Query/Cancel sequence does not cause a crash.
- For multilaguage queries running on Tovek Server, in sources using UNI locale, there is now possible to specify a locale to be used in multilanguage query tabs in Tovek Agent. It is done by changing file _tovek_\props.cfg in the server collection, the section name is [TS5x for TT] and an example of the entry is: LangDirOverride=russian
- There is a test command in Tovek Agent, Shift plus View multiple documents, which constructs a query for finding documents similar to the ones that are selected.

RELEASE NOTES:
- Tovek Tools Workgroup Server has a new option, to be set in the control panel in the Index Manager, to specify a password needed when connecting to the server. Please note that when this password is used it's not possible to connect using older versions of Tovek Tools, users must have this current version (or a newer one).
- Tovek Tools Fulltext Plug-in: Added a version for Analyst's Notebook 7. On Windows Vista please make sure that you have the latest release of ANB installed.
- Added option to override user’s name when connecting to Tovek Server v. 2/3.
- TT Fulltext Plug-in fix: Internal profiler (InfoRating) now accepts the same settings as in the other applications, allowing usage of a Verity knowledge base.
